refuge are an acoustic rock band from the midlands. They have just released their latest album ‘Time Together’ which has been having plays on BBC Introducing.

 

refuge record and release all their own original material.

refuge have always been keen to work and support mental health charities with their music. Lead singer Peter Hirst has Bipolar and both him and the band have worked to raise awareness of mental health issues over the last few years.

 

One of the positive winning singles from the project will be recorded by refuge

• One of the poems will be selected to make the winning lyrics
• A piece of artwork/photography will be selected to make the front cover for the iTunes release
• One of the poems will be selected  to be the B side for the single which will be read by the winner
