With positive mental health, I don\u2019t depend on slogans and \u2018prescriptions, \u2018<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Or let myself be limited by negative projections and descriptions. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With positive mental health, I can show my ability and my vulnerability,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I can become more fully human, knowing that \u2018joy and woe are woven fine.\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I can learn that patient waiting and creative reflection are just as important <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

as immediate success and constant striving.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I can devote myself to \u2018living\u2019 instead of just surviving.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

POETRY AND TIME<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Poetry can reveal<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Depth in time,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The co-existence<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Of past, present and future,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The moment of unity<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And wholeness of Being.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Such poems are a celebration<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Of the dance of creation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Given fleeting form in the speaking,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They slip away into the night,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Defying immediate analysis<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In favour of relationship –<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Revealing hidden connections.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Old familiar words take on<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

New form and resonance,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Like old familiar rocks<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That erode and blow as<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shifting sand into the desert.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Poetry is the time-lapse<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Photography of the soul,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It relates the fragment<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To the Whole<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
