There once was a young girl from Wales<\/p>\n

Who had the wind knocked from her sails<\/p>\n

She battled with wit<\/p>\n

Refusing to quit<\/p>\n

And now it is her that prevails!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

She uses her humour to aid<\/p>\n

All those who are starting to fade<\/p>\n

From sadness and woes<\/p>\n

And all inner foes<\/p>\n

So that they\u2019re no longer afraid.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

With good mental health she has glee<\/p>\n

And shares it with others for free<\/p>\n

As she fully knows<\/p>\n

About what the lows<\/p>\n

Can do when you feel all at sea.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll know who this young Welsh girl is<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t that hard of a quiz!<\/p>\n

And with unique style<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve made others smile<\/p>\n

Though I\u2019m not a comedy-whiz!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

My new plan in life is to write<\/p>\n

And show others how they can fight<\/p>\n

Their illness and pain<\/p>\n

Until they can gain<\/p>\n

A life that is joyful and bright!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

So now that my life has a goal<\/p>\n

I am the one who\u2019s in control!<\/p>\n

And so as I end<\/p>\n

I wholly intend<\/p>\n

To always stay mentally whole!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Katy collects a handmade hardback book<\/p>\n

She will be presented with this at the House of Lords on the 1st May 2013<\/p>\n
