Is full of wondrous things<\/p>\n

And each day is gift<\/p>\n

Enjoy the chances it brings.<\/p>\n

Dwelling on the bad<\/p>\n

Is an unhealthy way to go<\/p>\n

As we might miss the good<\/p>\n

So many joys we won\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

Appreciate the scent<\/p>\n

Of a dew covered flower<\/p>\n

Or share your friendship<\/p>\n

In someone\u2019s most needing hour;<\/p>\n

Listen to the music<\/p>\n

Of an exultant bird<\/p>\n

Or get lost in the wonder<\/p>\n

Of the written word.<\/p>\n

Learn to enjoy the simple things<\/p>\n

For they are all around<\/p>\n

And when we can see the positive<\/p>\n

Happiness will always be found.<\/p>\n

Stephanie collects an iPad and a handmade hardback book<\/p>\n

She will be presented with these at the House of Lords on the 1st May 2013<\/p>\n
