Devon Partnership NHS Trust<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are an NHS organisation that works closely with other health and social care providers across Devon to support the recovery of people with mental health needs.<\/p>\n

We deliver services for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Adults<\/li>\n
  • Older people<\/li>\n
  • People with alcohol and substance misuse issues<\/li>\n
  • People with a learning disability<\/li>\n
  • People who need forensic or secure mental health services (usually people that have come into contact with the criminal justice system)<\/li>\n
  • People in Devon’s three prisons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u00a0We also work with our partners to provide supported accommodation, vocational rehabilitation and employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

    At any one time, we provide care for around 12,000 people in Devon and Torbay.<\/p>\n

    Increasingly, our focus is on personal recovery. Working with people to understand their individual needs and goals, moving them towards recovery and independence and helping them to get on with their daily lives.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

    We actively support the national Time to Change campaign to end mental health discrimination and eradicate the stigma that too often accompanies mental ill health.<\/p>\n
