Dorset HealthCare University Foundation Trust provides Mental Health, Learning Disability and Community health services to the population of Dorset.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Mental Health Directorate provides a number of services to support adults of all ages with their mental health and wellbeing. These include:<\/p>\n

  • Community Services<\/li>\n
  • Inpatient services<\/li>\n
  • Rehabilitation and Recovery services<\/li>\n
  • Addictions services<\/li>\n
  • Forensic services<\/li>\n
  • Prison health care services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Directorate also provides some specialist services such as community and inpatient support for mothers and babies.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    Other services such as Eating Disorder services and services to support young people\u2019s mental health and wellbeing are also provided by the Trust, in the Children and Young People\u2019s Directorate.<\/p>\n

    The Trust is committed to providing services which support people in their recovery and is working closely with people with lived experience, carers and third sector organisations to develop new ways of working to support this goal.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    A recent development being the implementation of the fourth Recovery Education College in England.<\/p>\n
